2nd INTERNATIONAL MARITIME HUMAN RIGHTS CONFERENCE 2018

SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

London.UK. Human Rights at Sea is proud to present the schedule for the forthcoming second International Maritime Human Rights Conference (IMHR) covering the key topic of ‘Maritime Business and Human Rights’.

The conference will consist of four sessions, each covering a different aspect of this year’s theme. The sessions are as follows: ‘Proofing your supply chain against modern slavery’; ‘Technology and Human Rights’; ‘Safer ships, safer crew’; and ‘Crew engagement: tools and initiatives to create a better working environment’. Through the discussion of these topics, the second International Maritime Human Rights conference aims to further expand on the discussion regarding maritime business and human rights that was brought to the fore by the inaugural conference in 2016 and initiated by Human Rights at Sea.
