Human Rights at Sea Annual Report

Year Four: Global Delivery of Maritime Human Rights

London.UK.  Human Rights at Sea publishes its Annual Report covering the UK-based charity’s fourth year of operation.

Founded in April 2014, the charity’s mission is to explicitly raise awareness, implementation and accountability for human rights provisions throughout the maritime environment, especially when they are currently absent, ignored or being abused.

The Fourth Annual Report is a comprehensive review of the charity’s impact, deliverables and achievements, as well as an overview of collaborative and supported work carried out by some of the HRAS partners-organisations around the world.

David Hammond, Founder and Trustee of HRAS commented: “This report is yet another milestone in the development of our charity and the emerging global concept of maritime human rights, including human rights provisions and protections to be consistently advocated for and applied at sea throughout the maritime supply chain. As highlighted in previous years, the report does not cover every aspect of our work, but showcases a broad sample.”
