Press Release

15 March 2020

London.UK. Noting the extraordinary situation of the continuing spread of COVID-19 globally and the related uncertainties surrounding the resultant knock-on effects, Human Rights at Sea, as a virtually-run organisation, will continue its business continuity while taking all necessary measures to protect staff and researchers engaged in day-to-day activities.

Subject to official government advice, the charity will continue its national and international work focusing on its delivery through remote working, though it may well temporarily scale back field research for ongoing projects.

Work alongside all partners will continue, noting and respecting all individual and collective measures imposed to limit and combat the spread of the virus.

Ends.
